The Joy and Freedom of Flexible Assessment
There are so many ways to define this term. Flexibility in assessment can involve student choice of topics, questions, or methods. It could also mean variety in measurment of skill development.
In this course, participants will learn about the alignment of standards, curriculum, and assessments that allow for design and development of variable and flexible methods. Flexibility and variability in assessment make it possible to see many ways in which students are growing in knowledge and skills and provide many possible ways for them to show achievement.
