Peer Mentoring



Students supporting peers with disabilities in the classroom facilitates a natural inclusive environment. This course teaches the peer the basic skills for supporting a student in the classroom, collaborating with the teacher, and knowledge of the academic and social challenges students may encounter.

Autism Basics

In this course, Autism Basics Part 1, participants will learn what Autism is and the common characteristics and behaviors of people with Autism. This course will give an overview of strategies to use in the classroom that help Autistic individuals function successfully in an academic environment. Once you finish Part 1 of Autism Basics, it is recommended that you move on to Part 2, which covers what to do and what NOT to do when helping Autistic students to succeed in your school and classroom.
