Understanding Dyslexia
Dyslexia affects one in every five students on average. It is increasingly more important for teachers to learn what Dyslexia is and is not and how to create a learning environment that accommodates for students with Dyslexia. The course will outline the different types of Dyslexia and the impact those neurological differences can have in the classroom.

Autism Basics
In this course, Autism Basics Part 1, participants will learn what Autism is and the common characteristics and behaviors of people with Autism. This course will give an overview of strategies to use in the classroom that help Autistic individuals function successfully in an academic environment. Once you finish Part 1 of Autism Basics, it is recommended that you move on to Part 2, which covers what to do and what NOT to do when helping Autistic students to succeed in your school and classroom.
